Executive Director & Co-Founder - Herna Cruz-Louie

Herna Cruz-Louie is the Executive Director and Co-Founder for American Center of Philippine Arts (ACPA). Herna started as a performer in Philippine cultural dance and music in 1995 with PASACAT Asian Pacific Arts of San Diego, CA and eventually became an instructor for music. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, she performed with LIKHA-Pilipino Folk Ensemble as a musician and became Executive Director. Herna has over 12 years working with nonprofit organizations such as the YMCA, Team-Up for Youth, Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center, Kearny Street Workshop and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She is the co-founder of flinc.org and currently works at Circle of Moms. Herna is a proud wife, mother and workaholic.
