Rules and Guidelines

PERFORMANCE RULES

• All performing students must be in uniform when arriving at venue. ACPA shirts and jeans, or if no ACPA shirt, black plain shirt (no print) and jeans or black pants/skirt. The uniform will vary depending on the type of performance. Parents and students will be notified of Uniform requirements prior to the event. Closed toe and comfortable shoes please.

• All performing students must arrive 5 minutes before call time.

• Boys' hair must be nice and neat.

• Girls should already have hair up in bun and makeup done when arriving at the venue.

• No outside accessories (headbands, clips, bandanas, hats, etc.). Leave these items at home.

• NO JEWELRY! Other than the girls' accessories asked to used on stage. Leave these at home.

• NO VALUABLES! We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. Leave your iPods, Portable Game Consoles, Cell Phones, etc. at home where it will be safe.

• No nail polish, tattoos, body art, etc. of any kind.

• No eating is allowed after the costume is put on. Water is fine.

• No parents/guardians, friends or family will be allowed in the dressing rooms unless authorized by ACPA staff. There will be designated areas where you can meet and greet your student performer before and after each performance. ACPA staff and volunteers will be assisting in the dressing rooms.

If for any reason you will be late to a performance call time OR should an emergency arise, please contact ACPA staff immediately.

PERFORMANCE CHECKLIST
Here are a list of items every student performer must have ready with them on performance day(s). Please be sure to label all items with the student's name using blank permanent ink and/or sticker labels.

PLEASE NOTE! **Costumes/accessories & props are for rental use only and should not be labeled in any way. These items are the property of American Center of Philippine Arts (ACPA). Our staff will provide you with further instructions on rental and care, as well as information on our costume return process. You will be responsible for any lost or damaged items.
